Reception was helpful, staff spoke numerous languages, nice touch at reception was fresh water dispensers with citrus and some sweet treat to help yourself to. Rooms were comfortable including the bed, shower was good. Breakfast was a highlight which is unusual as I usually find hotel breakfast are not worth while .. this one was really good and included in our price. Fresh orange juice from an orange squeezer was a real bonus, plus Cava if you wished..this may have been because it was Christmas season, but a lovely idea. Plenty of fresh fruit, lovely breads and pastries and good jams, cold meant and eggs etc .. very impressed.

If you know the Academie hotel in Bruges with its superb breakfast choices then rest assured the Sercotel Europa matches that quality. Attentive breakfast manager ensured fresh helpings of everything were delivered when required. Desk staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. We parked our car in a local garage round the corner which provided an excellent friendly service. Bonus was local small bar/ bistro where you felt like a local and were served like royalty.

The Hotel is one street from the beach although there is not a view from the rooms. The breakfast is quite varied and not in a cramped space, one can choose your own table and food. There is 24 hour reception and the hotel is very clean. We will come again for a 5th visit next year.

This hotel was one block walking distance from the crescent beach, in a part of town that had many stores and restaurants. There were 2 Hop-on, Hop-off bus stops near the hotel. Buffet breakfast was available each day with self-serve coffee machines for guest use. The breakfast was varied with hot and cold foods and was very nice.
